964 UK meet and locations

I've been irked somewhat at my inability to get more than 21 people at a meeting, So I've cooked up a scheme to ensure we can get this covered off, it's not exactly new, but I'm hoping that you will buy into it.

I've put a Googlemap up for collaboration, and want you all to add your locations on there please, my rationale is simple, after going over a few details with Computamedia Dave, the idea of having meets close to central locations, and moving that around to benefit all seemed like a good idea, well to me and Dave anyways.......

Once the map has been populated, we'll know where the best central point is, we can then start to evolve a series of meets spread out from place to place, and capture off many people who may have not been to one of our little gatherings before, each area must have their own small special places of hostelry or roads, and these would be an ideal opportunity to meet, eat and maybe swap/sell parts etc........

Click collaborate and add your marker...........

It's my starter for 10, please let me know how you feel about this, we all tend to get caught up in hotspots of activity, and maybe this is the time to spread out a tad.

If you do not have a google account, I or Dave can add names locations etc for you...

Regards

kevin.

cheers all for joining in, In the near future myself and Dave are considering taking the map from the public domain, please let me know if this suits you all.

We are concerned about two issues, namely:

1. Public info, although it's easy to obtain, we understand the argument of knowing where peeps live.
2. Traders and public companies, although we invite them in, we are concious of this becoming a market place, and thats not exactly what I intended.

Again, thanks for the input. please let myself or Dave know if you have any overriding issues you'd like resolved.

Regards

kevin

Hi team,

Don't seem to be able to add myself so please add me to the map.

Bobster, (Bob Chilton)
Guards Red, C2
Chandlers Ford (Eastleigh, Hants)

What a great idea!

Bob.

Dave,

Re: post on RS forum - same topic.

Back to our own place [:)].

Yes, it was me a the Leicester meet - lovely day out.

Thank for putting me on the map, although I appear to be somewhat isolated.

Cheers.

Hi

Can you add me to

Thanks
Les - Berkshire

Les,

Can you be a little more precise than "Berkshire". It's a big place. It doesn't have to be street name accurate - just a town would be good.

Dave
