964 UK production(import) numbers

Does any one know how many 964's were imported into UK and how many are still here!?

This website will give you some idea of how many are still on/off the streets......... Sadly does not recognise model designations like 964 so will have to do some adding up. Look down the bottom on the right hand side for figures taxed and sorn'd by year of registration -

Example for C4

C2 figures are more of a mystery - try looking for C2, Carrera, 911, ????

This data will of course depend on how accurately the model is designated on the V5 - I also own one of the infamous Japanese import Imprezas that's pretending to be a 'GL AWD' rather than a WRX Type RA!

I've found the original database, but you would need to spend hours sorting through to get any sensible numbers, which I dont ahve at the moment!

Berny "Scouser" Goodheart IT guru developed an excellent VIN decoder. Many people have used this, perhaps Berny could shed some light on this topic.

Also some time ago Dave Wilkinson was compiling a register of of members 964's. There was a post for awhile on this forum, not sure where its disappeared to, perhaps this would be a good starting point.
