I live in Rotherham and have just got back into Porsche ownership. I went to Strasse in Leeds when I had my 3.2. But they were getting a little expensive and Leeds/Rotherham was not very convenient anyway.

I bought a 964 C4 last week and unfortunately, I think a require a local specialist already. I have tracked down a Porsche/VW specialist on Attercliffe Road Sheffield called Statller. Not been there as yet, but your chap could give them a try.

I live in Sheffield and take my car to Zentrum in Nottingham.
The service is great and the guys there are really pleasant.
It is a fair distance to travel but they have a loan car (if you request it) or they are less than five minutes from a train station (about £7 or £9 to Sheffield).
I have been to Strasse and again the service is good. They just aren't as convenient for me as Zentrum.

I did'nt go to Statller in the end. I was recommended Millbrooke Cars www.millbrookecars.com by a friend. They are also in Attercliffe between Sheffield & Rotherham. Fitted me in at a days notice, got me going again (car wouldn't idle) and washed the car afterwards. Charged me 1 hours labour £50. Well pleased!
