964 wins Class 1 in PCGB championship

Yes, congratulations Marcus, especially when coming onto the sport a lot later than the rest and competing with more expensive machinary!

I guess its more about the driver and a well setup car.

Well done.

Marcus is also out in the CSCC Future Classics race at Donington Park on Sunday 31 Oct. The CSCC FC races are 40 mins races for one or two drivers, with a compulsory pit stop. There is a full programme including 2 x night races.

The FC grid has 30 cars (inc 7 x 944s, 1 x 924 and 4 x 911s). It'll be very interesting to see how Marcus gets on against the regulars.

I'm racing my Toyota in the Tin Tops race! The Future Classics race is at 1235 (40mins); Jag XJS & Saloons @1330 (15 mins); Tin Tops @ 1400 (40 mins); Swinging Sixties @1455 (40 mins); Magnificent Sevens @1550 (40 mins).

The Jag night race is at 1830 (15 mins) after night qualifying & the combined FC, TT & SS night race is at 1900 (40 mins).

The Swinging Sixties grid always seems to be very impressive - from Alfas to E Types & minis to Elans. Its a full grid, too, with 10 reserves!!!! Tin Tops has 22 cars.

Should be a good (if cold) day.

I am in the Future Classics race in my 944 Turbo its maritime blue and number 87,(hopefully doing the night race aswell[:D]).
