does anyone here have info on 964 Cup cars?
I'm curently looking for some extra info on 2 cars.

one is a 1990 maritime cup originally sold in Italy (if i can believe the shop where it was) racing numbers on the car says nr. 40
and a 1992 Cup car , also maritime blue, originally sold in Luxemburg.

sorry but until now I do not have the chassisnumbers. I Asked for them, but still waiting.

but may be someone here more already with this info

Thanks

I'd consult the Scottish oracle--Charles.

The German Cup no. 40 car from 1990 was Maritime. There were a few Italian Drivers. The No.7 Green car was driven by V. Columbo.

In early Cups the VIN matched the race no. but there was a development car or 2 so no. 40 car could be VIN 042 or higher,

Hacki's Cup was no. 45. VIN 050. Try and get VIN and Shell nos. Lots of reshells out there!

at last some info on the chassis number

WPOZZZ96ZLS409020

any info on this number

any ideas on price on these cups on the mainland?
car look almost original, except the built in of airjacks.
original motor and gearbox

More data pls

Colour now original?

Engine no.?

Wagenpaß?

Prices vary, an original Cup car with documented history could be north of 100k EUR. One of those mongrels prob about 50 - 60k.

Rgds,

Hacki

hacki,
the only thing i know now is that the owner claims he's got the complete history of the car from te beginning and that engine and gearbox are matching. but i do not have the numbers
but the claims is also that the cars is as raced in the days and is complete original
but i think the airjacks proof different and will be costly to put back in original form.

Looking at the photos you've posted, it is a 1990 car. I've seen the early wing mirrors on later cars but not the interior door panels. The ones shown in you photo are 1990 items, which were changed for 1991 cars.

As to price. You need to view the car and check the history, or get it checked by someone who knows their onions. Photos tell you next to nothing!!! I'd agree with Hacki on price, with one caveat - a truly genuine car with big history will probably make north of £100k.

Airjacks are OE for the Supercup and have part nos on the Cup parts list.

964 385 009 90

Cars did both German or French Cup and then there was a National element to the Supercup.

I have been contacted by Chris on Rennlist with one post saying he is the owner. I have not managed to get him to confirm the shell no. despite me giving him what it should be.

You need to get Engine, Shell and gearbox no. and I will tell you if it is Original.

Possibly Rosenkranz cup?

Chris the Cup cars came off the C2 line when needed so there are different gaps in the 150xxxx sequence. Early cars came off all together but there is a missing shell no. in the sequence. i am trying to piece it together with the LS series owners I know. Your shell no. would help the cause. I came across 1505050 at Spa and I am trying to work out the Vin. It must be very close to your shell?

The car is in Amsterdam so I would strongly advise you pay Olav at info@speedservice.nl to inspect.

It was best money I spent whhen looking for a Cup. The are no Virgins but some have major impacts patched up badly.

Air jacks OE from 1992. It's part of the history of the car, why change it?
Good hunting and keep us posted!!

Mandatory, highly recommended.

thanks guys.
but as of yesterday evening i will not go through with a possible purchase of the car

but still looking for a N/Gt or Cup (but it should also be allowed for road driving then, the jacks make this very difficult (=impossible) in Belgium).
and a lot of extra cost on the car mkae this one too expensive for me.
