I now know I made the right decision in selling my Lightweight and moving on up to a Clubsport N/GT, not knowing what to expect after 6 agonising months of a few hundred road miles, thinking had I made a mistake. Well I now know the Clubbie is the Boy, Mutz Nutz, Coheenas Grande, King of the Hill in the Leichtbau Stable, She was awesome today at Brands Indy, so much quicker than my old Lightweight even with 30BHP less. The car is just totally communicative. Sorry to lament but never grinned so much and came away with such a boner.

Steve Rance took her out for a few laps, set up spot on with a litttle understeer, he loved it.............arrived a boy left a Man.....

Wet cold greasy West Circuit Bedford yesterday plus Yoko cold tyres don't mix. Following the baptism of fire and euphoria of Brands, I was brought done by a bump (pyscioligally speaking) on my first few laps. Three spins first session (mud, petrol, Clio debris everywhere) time to come in. Took it slowly while the track dried out a bit, had I lost the plot....well happy to say once those Yoko's got hot the smile returned towards the end of the day. Found myself getting more aggressive with the red mist descending quickly, as a relative novice, this was a big lesson in respect for tyres. Roll on 17th March.....
