I will be lobbying for a separate 964RS forum, declined at the moment.

Do we need one? What do you think guys?

I think we should allow forums for any group that is keen enough to use one and has a volunteer to moderate - if a new forum does not get used, it can easily be removed, so little is lost.
There is concern in some quarters that the Forum might not work; I think the activity in the last few days clearly demonstrates otherwise.[8D]
But, as with so many things, if you don' t ask, you don' t get - so please support Mel if you agree with him by making posts and telling people (equally, if you do not agree, please say so - the really great benfit of the Forum is that every member of the Club can have his or her say on every topic of interest to him/her).
hey guys, its just like a Porsche: momentum travels[:)]

It will have to be stripped of all non-essentials: no avatars, no smilecons, no pictures, etc. It will have to have a bright background, just to make it a little uncomfortable. A background noise, of course. And it' s own (very slightly) faster server.

Absolutely.

We need a Forum per register, full stop!!

Thanx for yr support Laurence!!

Mel, what' s the point of a 964RS forum?

The cars just go round and round and so will any discussion of them.

I agree with the concept of allowing separate forums for different sections of the club if there is a demand.
The simplicity of being able to do this is one of the great benefits of the forum system.
A similar discussion about separate forums was on the " Classic and Heritage" forum.
Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared.
