964RS Guidence

I am in the process of selling my 997S to hopefully go down the route of buying a 964RS and would like to know if there is anyone who as a good knowledge of the car and who would carry out a thorough inspection on a car before I purchased.
And on a cheeky note is there any members who own a 964RS would spare me a couple of hours sometime to have a chat about and a look around their car.

There are a few people who really know their stuff. It all depends on where you are and where the car you want to have inspected is. Or you could buy from one of the acknowledged specialists who have a good repuation. (or do both!)

I am sure somebody would spare you some time but it might help if you let us know where in the country you are!

I am in Bushby, just the other side of Leicester and would be more than welcome to show you around an RS and give you some insight into ownership of them.

Email me through the forum if you want to come over, where in Hinckley are you?

Cheers

Ollie

No - but with the money from the obvioous immediate sale of the 997S I could buy a stonking 964 Clubsport and a rediculous amount of tyres, brakes, discs and track time!!!!

Also Ollie has changed the date again for the Ring so looks like Judgement Day 2 IS ON AGAIN!!!!

Cheque is in the post....

Vic I think it has now gone , and it was one of the best engines in a RS cannot say who buyer was but it should feature in a Mag regularly soon

BTW Dick -if you go to the Club website, click on Registers and the 964RS logo, go to 'Articles' -Laurence has written a few lines on buying a '64RS.
