964RS MOT failure horror!

Took the car to be MOT'd today, and would you believe it... it failed!

On Sunday I fitted a pair of rhd headlamps which I got from Nick Moss (thanks Nick [:)]) at the Husborne Crawley autojumble and the right beam needed adjusting lower by about an inch. For about 1 second it was hit or miss whether 'Butzi' would get a certificate.

Christ... these old tractors aren't a patch on your modern GT3's which I'd imagine would have sailed through the MOT.

I sometimes wonder whether I did the right thing by buying a 15 yr old '64RS... [:D][:D][:D]


 
Don't blame the car. Blame the mechanic. I would ask for my money back, compensation and ensure that he can never work on Porsches ever again [:D]

Rich, if you've any doubts at all I'm sure an orderly queue will form to relieve you of the problem!

With the market how it is at the moment, probably no so orderly either!
