Yes here I go again, these rarer factory prepared out of the showroom racers are increasing in value day by day, if I'm not wrong they also qualify for historic race series as well as Race Register, as they have a factory competition chassis numbers and were N/GT eligible cars and endorsed by FIA. £45k now buys a very good unmolested example which is too good to seriously track only 150 made but 300 factory chassis numbers? These were not the RSR as was commonly known but a true Clubsport in every way...........obviously all LHD........there is a large price differential between well used and repaired cars to the garage queens all worth buying andkeeping as any 964RS.....the Clubsport lead the way together with the 3.8RS/RSR (£60k+) but have a long way to go. What you pay £45K today I'm sure will be £60K in three years........THIS IS MY HOT BUYING TIP..............

MY HOT TIP OF THE DAY: buy them to use them and enjoy - not as investments to polish in the garage [] - awesome fun on track and can be used to go shopping in to Tescos as well...[]

Autotrader always has a good selection of N/GTs and always with one careful owner. ;O)
I vote for the 3.8 RSR, £250K in 10 years no problem.

Local Newshopper and Anglican Church Times great for 964RS Clubsport particularly very low mileage examples owned by old widows who live down a gravel drive and only drive it to pick up the milk and keep it in a humidity free garage and service it 12 times a year with a bi-annual total factory rebuild....
Now on the other hand you are not far wrong a 3.8 RS detuned 375BHP will make 100,000 Euro today rarer RSR double that in mint condition the last greatest air-cooled racers.........

Des - A used non-original paint decent condition 964RS N/GT seems to be around £30-35k at the moment.
I'm willing to put a little sportsmans wager on this with you - that by Jan 2011 a similar condition car will not be worth £60-70k..
If it is then it will be a shame as I'll be too scared to track the thing any more []
matt
GT Classics recently sold a very nice example for about 45K I can see these cars making big money if kept in same condition, sure the more used and raced examples are low 30K.............at the moment.........buy one if you can.....

No idea about price. Worthwhile checking with Franco Lembo. He is a straightforward guy and will tell you what's what.

Don't see how the engine no. can match as it is 3.8 or has 3.6 been modified, bored out to 3.8, then the RSR bits added to it.
How much? 80K Euro I bet?
ORIGINAL: PhilRS
I checked the asking price for the RS 3,8 clubsport above and it is 200,000 euros. Car now has RSR parts, but can be transformed back into RS clubsport (except engine).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
How can that be???? It's a conversion ! What would an original RSR
be worth?
To save getting calculators out Eur 200k = Sterling 137k.
