964RS - Touring

There is a RS Touring RHD being offered for sale at the very reasonable sum of £64,995. It is being advertised with the same dealer that sold it before. (I don't want to raise the wrath of others by advertising or mentioning a particular dealer).

Is this a new record for a RHD RS????

Tut tut. Not a reasonable price at all. This IS the car that was sold about 8 weeks ago by the same dealer - asking price then £55k!

I was in the market then but it was sold to someone in Dublin who was, allegedly, a middle man and it went direct to a customer in England. Profits all round then!

Maybe it didn't sell at all --- or maybe he bought the white RHD Lightweight and decided not to keep the Touring ?

Either way, £65k seems as optimistic as £110k for a 993 Clubsport ....

Let's see if they sell .... !

You could be right. Deal or no deal? More of mystery now that it's reappeared at the same dealer. Some gross optimism with pricing of 964s (with non-essential bits missing and added lightness) at the moment.

was it sold to a co called northern rock? or more likely financed by them? If so we all own a bit of it...........

Which one is it ? £65K for a used Touring RHD makes little sense to me however very rare and very collectable if not worth that now IT WILL BE....I would spend £60K on the red Lightweight 5000 miler LHD everyday of the week.....if it's still for sale....

RHD car popped up on sean lockyear site too.

£58,850 for a rhd RS in rubystone...

Interesting he has an XJ220 on the site too, I remember skiving the afternoon off college to go to my local Jaguar dealer to see one which was touring the UK dealers. Lots of speculators had lost money on them in the recession, Jaguar couldn't give them away at the time - seems ironic one has come up for sale in the current climate - £98k is a lot cheaper than it was back then.

Was this the car sold to Yorkshire for £55k via several dealers and started life in PP at £45k 4 months ago, it had Motec unless it's been taken off....hmmmm

Interested to hear that the Rubystone RHD car has gone --- 70k miles --- what about the white one at The Hairpin Company ?

The 993 Clubsport has now been reduced to £100k, --- worth ? £85k ?

Just guessing but ???

Nothing wrong with the continual increase in the value of our cars (good to see the rhds coming good), as there is very little resultant impact on us owners. I just feel a bit sorry for those who would like to become an owner, only to see the values increase ever higher.

I believe the Rubystone Red car was the one sold by Paragon a bit less than 2 years ago, perhaps someone can confirm that? Interesting the note that if it is the same car, then it sold for less than £35K (the car had quite a history to tell!!!!).

RHD 964RS Will hit £100K one day soon................bucking the World Markets think a few big Hedge Funds are moving in...[:D]

Des, they are over $100k already.[8|]
Its all about supply and demand, they are unique and will continue to rise in value IMO
Look at all the alternatives, scant 'eh?
One thing I really dislike about the toyota inspired 911's is the wide body, far too big and cumbersome for me, and then they put the handbrake on the Passenger side of the too wide tunnel. Are we supposed to call "Pull" "Release" over to passenger at Tee Junctions[8|]
OK, I may compromise for a GT2 - something about the 0-186-0 in under a minute that grips me.

Looks like its SOLD too. I keep getting close to pulling the trigger on a 93 RS CS but this one at 100k (and was only 100k for 1 day, when i enquired it was best at 105k) and the last rhd cs went through at 110k is all madness. I thought 85k was closer to the mark (I even told my mate he was soft in teh head for paying 85k last year for a RHD CS) but guess im the one who is wrong.

Dare I say a RHD 993RS ClubSport N-GT one of seven I think, @£100,000 if it's a good car makes a lot of sense.....surprised it's still about

and

I did say £100,000 and not $100,000 for a RHD 964RS....[:D]

The answer to all this is simple.......they just don't make them anymore...[>:]
