968 cab for sale

Hi. Ive no idea about the car youve posted the link to..
It seems a tad dear to be honest..
But it will be as its at a dealers + theyve got to make money.££££££££

BUT
Why not take a GOOD + SERIOUS look at mine,,
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/205582.htm
I have TOTALY cherrised this car, over the last 4 years of its life.
Ask around this + other 968 comunities + im sure the folks will back me up, in saying its GREAT....+ EXCEPTIONAL value...[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Regarding the red cabrio.
As its at a dealers + asking TOP price, ide be expecting it to be MINT condition.
Ive just taken a good hard look at the pics that are on the sellers web site...

The wheels that are fitted to it are wrong, + to get the correct versions will cost aprox £700-£1000..
The seats look a tad worn, especially the red piping along the front edges. It looks like the piping has split...Unless its just the photos...

If its got its original roof covering, then expect it to be a tad "aged", + creased.. aprox £1000 to re cover...

It says its got 70,ish K miles on, Thats just about the time itl either need a new cam CHAIN + or a full set of belts, £££££ OR even a new set of cams [ if your unlucky]. The clutch may very well be worn if its the original, needing replacing soon, again ££££..
Now,
Im NOT trying to put you off,,far from it,
BUT
Ive been around these cars for quite a few years + have a VERY good understanding of what wears + roughly at what milages.
All the above have been replaced + then some on my car...Making it a good deal.
Yes i am a tad biased....[:D][:D][:D],,,, BUT also very truthfull.

There's a burgundy 968 cab on ebay now for around £6k, it may be a shed, I don't know I haven't seen it, but it did have cams and a clutch in the past apparently.

If you look at the add. Its up for £6800. Thats nearer £7K in my book...
Where abouts does it say its had cams / clutch etc.??? Not in the add.....
It also looks like it could do with a new hood,, C £1500 ...
Among other stuff.....

I spoke to the seller, they said it had the cams and clutch replaced, it's also open to offers over £6k. I'm not attempting to undermine your sale, your car appears to be much better. I think we have been through the 968 value debate elsewhere, the fact that your car hasn't sold yet seems to suggest that prices for good 944s and 968s aren't going to remain £1000s apart eventually.
