## 968 cabrio for SALE...##

Dave,

I can't afford it, but it looks like a beautiful example.

A question. How did you get the engine bay looking like that? It looks like new ...

Oli.

Oli. Thats how i bought it, just kept on top of it....
Paul, your not wrong.. This car shouldve been sold long ago....Its a great example....As im sure a few on here can testify to after seeing it at numerous Porsche shows over the last 4 odd years ive owned it....

Just adds to my generally depressed mood - a combination of selling a house, partner in the mortgage industry and watching cars scrapped for parts despite being perfectly serviceable has made me remember the crash of the late '80s far more than I ever wanted to....[&o]

Well look on the bright side - very good 996 turbos are now exchanging hands for under £40k and i've seen decent ones going for as little as £35k. Another five years and who knows.....

The world is a different place now and Porsche's are no longer immune from depreciation. They are now depreciating at a comparable rate to other cars. Money is too cheap to borrow and people are opting to buy new cars. Suits me fine. I'm planning on keeping the 944 long term and keeping a very close watch on 996 turbo prices. The wife can have the sensible car and i'll have the toys!!
