Check and clean the power roof relay, most issues are blown fuses duff relays and corroded connection

Cheers Waylander
on thinking about it, it all went down ok including roof but not up. So loosened bolts as recommended in book and put up by hand . Bit of a novice where is the relay ?
Cheers

Take the lid of the fuse box off and look inside the lid there is a full listing of the fuses and relays

Have found the relay (blue box ref G21 ) before I break it any idea as to how they come out ? is it held in by friction or do they need to be released with a flat screwdriver or something ?

Have noticed between the inner and outer hood cover at the hinge point down each side there is a short length of cable approx 150-200mm long x approx 3mm thick black coated with an eye on one end fixed with a machine screw to the roof frame and a eye the other end which may be mixed by an Alan key fixing . Theres one each side but ones broken any idea what they do. Could they be an earth between the 2 moving frames. Could it be the reason the hood won't now operate.
any ideas appreciated

Broken cable turned out to be a tentioner cable and the hood operation being tempromental turned out to be a dodgy roof operation switch and not the micro switch or relay
all sorted.
