968 Coupe for sale

New member
For purely personal reasons I have decided to put my cherished 968 up for sale. You will find all the details here ...

http://www.arthurlea.com/Porsche/Forsale/porsche968.htm

The car is original, unmolested and in great shape, having just had a major service which included replacement of the inlet cam and chain, perhaps the only achilles heel of these cars.

Be quick, before I change my mind! [:(]

Sorry to see you are selling your car. Do you have another in mind? If anyone out there is looking for a good 968 this is the one.

John,

I too am really sorry to hear that you are selling[:(]
It's a beautiful car and I'm sure that it will sell..............[;)]

.................if you're sure you want to go ahead with it[&:]

Thank you all for the good wishes. I find I am less sentimental about cars than I used to be, and this is really just me being coldly rational, i.e. I'm not using the car as much as I was, and I could put the cash to better uses, so I've decided to sell it, and let someone else enjoy it.

PS I have of course got my eye on a 924, but that's another story.

So we'll still see you at the monthly meetings then?[;)]

Blast I thought that we were getting rid of you[8D]

Just kidding[:D]

On my desk is a substantial banker's draft and a pile of cash, but my garage is empty. [:(]

Yup, my 968 is now with its new owner heading for Lincoln, and I just hope he enjoys it as much as I did ... a fantastic car.

So what's next? ... anyone got a really good, genuine 924 for sale?

Do you need to spend the money fast? If so buy a 944 turbo [;)]

A nice late model 924S will be a very nice car, good luck in finding one.

Found one for you John!
