Is it possible to fit the Porsche968 engine into my 944S2 or do I need special conversion parts, I understand that the 968 ECU must be used as part of the swap. and as the 968 has a six speed box will the five speed 944 do the job. Finally are there any Porsche Garages or individuals that do this in the North West ie Hartech who can peform this swap.

See the latest Excellence Magazine for an article on 968 engine in a regular 944. If I read this correctly they used S2 clutch/flywheel and trans behind the 968 engine. They report biggest issue was wiring harness change. Remember 968 uses a hot wire MAF vs 944 flapper AFM so some changes needed to incorporate DME.
This article was not specific unfortunately but do document a running conversion.
