968 Hatch on a 944

Hi

I have recently purchased a 968 Bridge Spoiler hatch complete to fit to my 944. Although essentially the same item, the lock pins plates and rubber seals for lock pins differ slightly.

Can new 968 hatch pin lock seals be adapted to fit or will I have to unscrew the 68 hatch pin (easy to unscrew the splined screws, but they are sicoflexed on so almost impossible to remove, well easily!!!) and replace with the original 944 items with integral rubber seal.

Anyone done this or can shed some light on best way to go about it?
