968 luggage blind-how do they work?

Guys
Am I right in thinking that the luggage blind on the 968 connects to the rear hatch and lifts when the hatch does? (I think the "Silver Rose" 944 used this system?)
Thanks.
Yes, it does. Either end at the back of the blind is a short elasticated string with a small plastic hook on the end, this hooks into slots at the bottom of the hatch so the back of the blind lifts with the hatch.

Thanks very much. I'm hoping to get hold of one and want to fit it to my 944-can you tell me how the reel mounts to the car? Is it on the seat back like the 924/44 or by another means?
On my 1994 968 coupe there was no reel, the blind was a sheet of material not a retracting roller affair. The front mountings were plug-ins at about top of seat back level just behind the seat belt mountings in the C pillars - they were plastic twist to lock things, went into holes in the inner lining.
Luggage blinds are quite hard to come by and can be expensive. I occasionally see them on eBay, sometimes at silly asking prices - but then, just try asking your OPC for a price and take a deep breath!
Before looking for a 968 luggage blind for a 944, you'd better check the mounting points. Do you know anyone close by with a 968? You might also ask Elliot (on here), he breaks 944's and may be able to help.
