968 meeting at Oulton Park

The first official 968 register meeting of 2005 will be at Oulton Park as last year, on February 26th.
Of course any Porsche is welcome to attend but it will be an official 968 meet so convoys can be arranged and also there will be a line up in the car park as last year, we got 12 attending last year and that inspired the years attempts to get more and more 968s in one place, culminating in 35 at Walton Hall.

See you there.[:)]

would anybody like to confirm their attendance,
some of us will also be going onto the track.

We'll be there, but not doing the track though, cant afford to do any damage at the mo!

Good day had by all....[:D][:D][:D] Although VERY cold...

great day, athough as Dave says VERY cold, couldn't wait to get in the car and go on track just to get warm. Spent a good 1 and 1/2 hours driving round and round getting smoother and smoother lines, Druids became a pleasure rather than a nightmare, even in the wet. Even Rob (my passenger) commented on how Druids could be taken very smoothly at speed.
Although on my last 2 laps I felt the back end give a bit of a wiggle and then grip again so wander if somebody dropped something on the track.

Almost forgot, I also went to Donington and Silverstone yesterday and had passenger rides in 2 other 968s, Ade (who is a member on 968UK) at Donington with his new KW suspension and Pete Morris (won the Class 1 Michelin Porsche Club Championship) at Silverstone.

Pete will be at Oulton next Saturday with his 968. [:)]
