2 968s prepared by Ninex Motorsport are running in the AMOC Intermarque Championship at Brands Hatch on Sat 5th September and I'm trying to get a few of us along to watch. It's on the Indy circuit so should be good to watch the action and we can get access to the pits.

Here is a link to the AMOC site - http://www.amocracing.org/amoc-intermarque-championship/4574214888

So far myself and three others are going, any others interested in coming along?

Cheers Rich

Just a quick update, we have around 8 / 9 968s coming along to this at the moment including you guys. 1 other 968 is down to race so it should be a great day out. They haven't released the timetable yet but I'll update as soon as it appears on the website. Cheers

Bugger!! I wont be able to come to this meet after all as we will be camping at "Vanfest" in the Malvern Hills []!!! All the good meetings seem to clash this year [8|]. I would ditch it for a Porsche meet but, the kids would kill me as they love the T4 and, Volkswagen camper vans in general [8D]! Plus, we already have our tickets bought and paid for.....Oh well, c'est la vie [8|].

Shame you can't come Ex Skyline, hopefully catch you at another meeting soon.

Quick update, Steve (he is racing his 968 that day) has spoken with AMOC and they are happy for us to have a 968 display / parking behind the main stand opposite the shops. With easy access to the pits / stand / paddock hill it's a great spot. Steve is also bringing along his Riviera CS and will park it in the correct spot as a marker.

They haven't published the timetable yet, I'll update when they have.

Qualifying seems to start at 10.55 on Sat and the race later in the day at 15:50. Hope to see some of you there.

HI Guys Brands Hatch yesterday 5th September Aston Martin Owners Club race meeting was the place to be - three, yes three 968's were racing Steve Atkinson who is leading the inter marque championship, and two Ninex prepped 968,s each with two drivers. James Hilleard drove superbly in the lead, for the 45 minutes race, and won beating Astons Ferraris etc. really great to see well prepared 968's going so well, and I have to say with b.good drivers, they have a sponsor wear new race suits and look professional. Pity Steve had an off into the gravel delaying his progress otherwise I reckon he would have finished first or second. The third 968 lead driver Andy Duncan was holding 6th place and I believe lost a bit of time at the driver change pit stop . Seeing James hustling the 968 round Paddock Hill bend was amazing, just goes to prove what a great car the 968 is, get a brilliant driver and the 968 flies!! well done and good luck for another race today Sunday 6th Ken Coad 968 reg sec PS for more of the same think Silverstone 10th October but check the date

There aren't many Tahoe Blue 968 cabs in the country, we left about 5 - 5.30 - I did see another Porsche just after we left Brands.

Nice seeing you all on Sat, great to see the 968s performing so well against the 355 challenge and Aston Martin GT4s, very impressive. Congrats to Steve for pole position and Ninex for winning the race.
Here is a pic of the 2 968s on the front row. Cheers Rich

Another shot from Saturday. Cheers Rich
