Looks like some Stu's having website issues at the moment.

Hope it's not too hard to fix Stu.

Chris

Hope it is okay and back soon. Lost my lunchtime fix of 968uk now!

Ooh dear, that doesn't look too clever []

In the meantime, lets have a competition. [;)]

Lets see who can devise the best form of torture and retribution for the low-life slimeballs who have nothing better to do than write stupid viruses to screw up good and useful things like Stu's site. []

Lets think ... it's so bl**dy cold here at the moment, that leaving them in my garage overnight should do the trick[&o]

John -- if it is some sort of hacker, as it seems, then IMO "low life slimeball" is not strong enough. As moderator would you allow me to get it off my chest, as follows:

" ******g ******d and *****d *****r "

and good luck to Stu.

ps A different, but sort of related, story about dodgy people. In my business life I have just had a 'low life' business use the same limited company name as mine and register it with BT & YELL !! -- all illegal and what the lawyers call passing off. I spotted this and now their 0800 number has even started to appear in directories!! taken me 2 or 3 weeks to solve this one.

Nasty - 'This site is defaced'. Never seen anything like that before. I wonder who we have upset ?

The world contains a surprising number of numpties.

Hope they haven't trashed the database (or that you have a backup Stu)!

Look forward to the site being Un-defaced.

Rob

Ah, now that wins understatement of the week [:D]

You might be amused to note that the papers up here have taken to referring to our glorious Scottish Parliament as "The Numptorium" ... how apt! [:D]

It is not the only site - Touristenfahrer.de (a Nurburgring site) has also been hit, as apparently were a commercial flight sim page and the Finnish ice hockey team page (these just the ones I know about).
Crackers don't care what they hit - just that their count of sites goes up.
[]

sorry about this chaps, the hosting company are working on it now, I'll send an email when it's back up, I've managed to get the website itself back up but the forum is a tad more complicated.
Thanks for your words of support and indeed my thoughts go to the words needles and fingernails for these scrotums.

and the Finnish ice hockey team page (these just the ones I know about).

... and wouldn't we all love to know why Mr Bennett frequents this site [:D] [:D]

Keep the faith Stu ... there are a lot of chaps out there having withdrawal symptoms []
