968 with mild mods needs remap / ECU

Viper Green

New member
We got a 968 sport with a light weight fly wheel & de-cat straight through exhaust system. it now goes like stink, but is a bit flat in places i guess due to fueling.

The car needs a proper re-map via an after market ECU, has anyone any recommendations??? Emerald, Omex, Motec or similar.

This is a road car that just needs a tune up, occasional track days, but not a race car nutter barsteward.

Your input greatly appreciated. [:D]

There is no one better than Wayne Schofield at his ChipWizards business in Milnrow near Oldham. Actually do not know anyone else with a reputation for such work.

NB Getting hold of Wayne is another matter ........... he is a one man band, always busy ........ perseverance pays in the end!

Yes i second Wayne Schofield.
He did my car that had very similar enhancements to yours and i was VERY please with the results...[:D][:D][:D]

You wont need another aftermarket ECU as he uses the original and remaps the chips...

Thanks for that chaps, everyone is saying Chip Wizards, so we'll check them out. Does Wayne have a website???

What sort of cost are we looking at for the re-map???

Chip Wizards is a one man operation, Wayne Schofield being THE man.
He used to have a web site but i beleive its currently "down"....
Just try googling him, im sure youl manage to contact him somehow. Although he is notoriously difficult to contact...
I seem to think my car cost around £350 ,,,ish...
