Justin You dont say what sort of money you are looking for but the market for the CS is quite strong at the moment. Isnt it worth you getting it serviced and brought up to a decent spec? Im sure you would get a much better price for it.

What would you say was a decent spec, as a matter of interest? Just the ARBs or much more? I've always reckoned that the fact I could easily return mine to bog standard was an advantage, if someone wanted one as delivered, but perhaps not..........

Hi Thanks for the interest, unfortunately I dont have any spare cash to spend on the car at the mo, I am starting up my own company and have 4 kids and a wife to look after so the 968 is bottom of a long list. Good news is it has just passed its MOT, only had to realign headlamps! Has new battery, new discs and pads on back, new pads on front. Has had alternator referb, oil & filter change, New cams, New tensioner and New cam chain at PCT 4500 miles ago. Good condition all round apart from a little corrosion on back wheel arch. Was hoping to get £8K ovno.

Hi Thanks to all of you who have requested more info, there sould be some on its way to your in-boxes now! Cheers, Justin.

I put a post on TIPEC to say I was thinking of selling and it went within a day or two. Dave - your a tall guy, any experience of lowering the hardback CS seats? Rich

Well done mate.... Regarding the CS seats. Yes and no. Its quite difficult to get them any lower, as they make contact with the base of the subframe. I know that Southbound trimmers did a different seat runner/side mount kit, [it fitted the Recaro pole position], that did help to lower it some, but not sure on the costs... A few folk just remove the seat "suspension", if yours has it. Or does yours have the under cushion. Pull the bottom cushion off the seat + youl find a "suspension" part clipped to the side of the seat...I know the later CS,s have it, just not sure of the earlier ones... Happy days...[:D][:D]
