968's and inflation

LO , this lovely 968 sold for 5,000 on P.H a few weeks ago , guess I should have bought it right [:)] Sadly Black or white are the only two colours i cant live with
( which is why I sold my last 944) but i did think it was a bargain at 5,200

To me, and I can only comment on it from the ad, it's the best all-round 968, in a great colour, at a price that's very keen if you're looking at other cars around the £7K mark. And, it's from a dealer, so you might be paying a little over the odds compared to a private sale but you have all the legal comeback and possibly even a warranty.

I can't see how they make a profit. You're going to get it for £6.5, and they've had to buy it for £5K, prep it, pay their overheads to stock it, and have a contingency to cover any faults after it's sold. [8|]

£1500 is a lot of profit on a second-hand car sale for something in that price bracket.
