98 996 C4 Tyres

Hi,

Had my 98 996 C4 for a few months. It has Pirelli Asymetricos all round on 18 inch wheels with the tyres all down to 3mm.

The Pirellis seem OK but lots of tyre noise. My friendly local dealer (Protyre) has suggested the following as alternatives - all are the same low price for 4 tyres and all in stock:

- Pirelli Rosso N4's
- Continental Sports N2's

Which are the tyres to fit with the best compromise of ride/handling, wear rates and noise?
