Returning from the FoS Friday to Devon having put in my home town as destination, the navi system announced it was recalculating the route because of traffic - no yes/no screen option to accept - just the several announcements. So it took me to the end of the traffic jam!

I then turned off the blocked road, cancelled home destination in the navi and selected a town some way off the normal route. It then took me down very narrow lanes.

Is there some way of getting the re-routing to actually work, and to avoid cart tracks?

Unfortunately the FOS is a nightmare for sat navs because of the temporary one way systems near the event and that ALL the routes will be choked from about 5.30pm.

Having arrived at 06:30 and left at 14:30 to avoid all that, getting to and along the A/M27 was fine until just after the A31/A348 junction, which is where the queue started (around which I had thought I was been re-routed) and I turned off and the farm track journey commenced.
