981 Boxster Spyder roof problems

I am a member of a predominently german based 'Spyder owners Club', although there are at least 3 UK members.

Their website/forum has been reporting problems/issues withe the folding roof around the area of the fins. here is what they have been posting (apologies for the rather poor Google Translate translation of the original german post):

Hi Spyder friends,
