981 GTS | Exhaust problem

I had my corroding exhaust bolts on my 981 BGTS replaced last week and I think I have a bit of whistle when pushing on. It was my first chance to properly give the car a good drive yesterday after changing the bolts and it seems to have a bit of a wheezy whistle when pushing on beyond 4k rpm. I think it must be from the exhaust as it's just had its service and 111 check, so nothing problematic cropped up from that. Any ideas what this might be? Possibly a gasket not fitted correctly or something similar?

Hi there My bolts are corroded too , can I ask how much you had to pay and did you have them done at a OPC?
Thanks

I swear they engineer this type of fault into the car to get the maintenance spend after 3 years. I think there are various views on how easy/quick this job is, but I paid for 2 hours labour at my trusted local independent so £200 all in with the bolts. The OPC will charge you £600 for the same job.

Thanks for this I do wonder if having it done at an independent will cause any problems with the Porsche warranty.

They'll never know will they?
Two of my bolts sheared on the way home (few years ago) and it was blowing like no-ones business.
Sounded like a tank

Took it to a specialist who removed the rear silencers, replaced gaskets and fitted stainless bolts.
Think they charged me £120 + VAT.

And I think it was noted on the previous OPC service - they wanted something like £300 for the bolts and another £300 for the tailpipe brackets

I suppose that if anything happened to the exhaust which WAS going to be covered under the warranty then they may say that the work carried out was not to Porsche standard, but as the exhaust itself is a wear and tear item then I really can’t see it becoming a problem.
I’ll have it done locally. I’ll use Williams Crawford at saltash.

Old bolts removed when fitting new gaskets 2 weeks ago at my specialist and replaced with Stainless Steel jobs.
