981 GTS value?

What do people think is a good price for a 981 GTS right now? I sold my car last month to change over but we got locked down in the meantime [:D]

As ever mileage.spec, colour, history play a big part in value. We are in uncharted waters but take a look at PH and Autotrader to see current trend.

Who could possibly say?!

When / if the coronavirus crisis is over things will be different. Car values could change a lot or not. We’ll have to wait and see.

You get what you pay for my wife bought 7 months ago from Opc 2 years warranty as low mileage as we could find at the time one previous lady owner just under 15k of extras fully serviced before purchase new tyres as slight cracking.
We paid top money but for a perfect car in the spec we wanted and the history and peace of mind from Opc.
They have dropped a bit in 7 months but I can see something like GTS rising soon as won't be many new models around after current situation and to be honest a GTS is one of the best models around with a soundtrack to match.
Just depends on what you want we always buy the best we can do comes at a premium our choice.

Fair enough. Do we think these have taken a hit yet from the incoming 6 pot GTS? Or will they?

Even if you could find one it would be very difficult to go through the buying process until the present restrictions are lifted.

Regarding prices (and putting any Covid-19 effect aside), my BGTS was over £71k new, I bought it at three years old and it's lost a little more value since then (registered May 2015, so value now under £50k at OPC retail, maybe £44k trade?), so at coming up to five years old I think it's going to hold value quite well from here, the 718 GTS 6 will be a lot more expensive - over £30k more?, so unlikely to have any effect on 981 values in my opinion. My car still has only 14k miles, looks less than it's age and drives like a new car, so I would feel it was throwing money away if I was to trade up to a 718 - but some people will have a different view and decide to make the change, so there may be a few more 981 GTS cars available, there are likely to be plenty of buyers around though so prices should hold up well.

Opc or Indy or pvt.
If Indy or Pvt have you had the car inspected well worth it can save money and heartache in the long run.
Congrats just need to be able to get out and drive now. [:D]

My well specified 2015 981GTS manual 18k miles in Guards Red is for sale at £45k if anyone is interested (once we get some of these restrictions lifted). It was on the for sale listings on the PCGB website but I let it lapse for now. PM me for details.

It’s being sold by a specialist Indy with a full warranty. Delivery also covers you under distance selling laws so seller has to accept 14 day return.

I can still drive it to the shops :)
