981 Hood Wear Marks

Does your 981 show wear marks on the hood around the 'C' pillar area?
Mine shows wear in this area at 3 years old which is much worse than the wear on my 986 after 7 years. I know of one other Boxster in my area with this issue and currently Porsche are claiming 'normal wear and tear'. It's not what I'd expect after 3 years! How's your hood doing?

All Boxters suffer from wear marks from 986 987 981s in fact I have seen wear on all Porsche cabs from 996 to present day.
Guess the more they are used the worse the wear marks.

My 981 is nearly 2 years old and I haven't noticed any wear. Maybe I should have a closer look!

Cliff, are the marks similar 986/7 v 981. My Boxsters and GTS had marks around the rails but isn't the 981 a different structure?

Always noticed slight scuff marks on the 2 rear qualters on all models I say scuffs more of a creasing effect varies to hardly noticeable to fairly bad some get it worse than others. Guess its down to usage and age maybe survives better keeping clean and proofed.
Just one of those things.
