One of the few things I don't like about the 981 is the electric parking brake. Not having a handbrake may make the centre console more attractive but the electric switch, which is low down on the right handside of the dash, does not fall easily to hand.
In addition I have now had a "parking brake failure" warning appear on several trips. The warning clears after restarting the car. The fault code shows "Clutch sensor - innapropriate value". So far the OPC has not been able to prevent the problem reoccuring.
I would also be intereseted in other owners' experiences of the HOLD function. My experience with a manual car is that it is unpredictable when it will kick in.
