hi all

ive recently purchased a 981 base and do not have a garage to store over winter, does this model suffer the same roof drain / blockage problems as the previous models and does anyone know where they are located so I can check they are clear before putting a cover over it for winter

cheers

I'd also be interested in some guidance on what to do. My 981 also lives on the driveway and is approaching its third winter. I don't cover it as I am paranoid about damaging the paint, so it's always exposed to the elements. Cleaning out the drip channels is not (as far as I can see) mentioned in the car's manual, which seems a bit strange. Maybe Porsche check this if you have it serviced with them - I'm sure my salesman mentioned it when I bought the car.

Internet searches only seem to reveal advice for previous models. I can only assume that the rear drip channel / water drain is obvious when you part open the roof and look down into the gap that's normally covered by the flaps. This is on my to do list this weekend if the weather behaves.

As for drainage holes in the front of the 981, I have no idea where to even look.
