Guy what quantity

My data is a little woolly for some reason on this model. I am getting 9.5ltr dry, but as it is an auto box a change is only one side of the torque converter and my data is saying 3.5ltr for that.

Cheers,

Guy

Andrew,

With such a variance in estimates I’d be inclined to contact your local Porsche Centre’s service department to obtain a definitive quantity for your vehicle.

Usually my data is pretty good just not on this for some reason, I'll look at others.

What year is the 986?

Cheers,

Guy

it is a 2004

just got this from a Porsche manual

37 02 55 Changing ATF fluid
Filling capacity: approximately 9 I
Change quantity: approximately 3.5

Looking at other data this morning they are all saying between 9ltr and 9.5ltr dry.

Filling capacity: approximately 9 I
Change quantity: approximately 3.5

That is good to see, ties in with my data.

Cheers,

Guy

So the saga continues
changed the tiptronic oil today and I have put 3.5L cold with it just running over, warmed it up Cycled the gears 4L in and not running over.

So I have ordered some more fluid[&:] to hopefully get it to flow over

I will let you know later in the week how much

Andrew,

Did you think to check how much came out?

Jeff
