Are there any cheap/easy mods to do to get more power?

The airfilter looks small for its cc, is there anything better from the later boxsters / 911s that fits?

Ta. :)

Underdrive pulley, manifolds, throttle bodies, induction kit, sports cat. Probably equals circa 25-30 bhp.

Tony of Carrera Engineering advised me not to try any upgrades as he didn't feel that they improved the car mine's a 3.2 S 2002 boxster.

Martin

jonas jzm said the same -(unless you change engines )theres no real noticeable gain vs wear on the engine

At an RR day at Surrey Rolling Road I believe the chaps got around 20BHP more with a chip, exhaust manifolds, exhaust, larger throttle body and filter. Your money and your choice :).

Some people have spent a fortune and not gotten more than about 20bhp. The 550 Anniversary had an extra 6bhp from using intake components that came in with the 987.

Chris.
