Hi Guys.
My boxster "S" front discs & pads need replacing. Has anybody got any views on EBC Premium Quality Discs and "Big Red stuff " Street fast Pads.
Cheers

Steer clear of red stuff. I had them on my 944 and they were bordering on dangerous. The cold bite was non-existant and they had no feel. I've read similar reports from other users.

Red stuff pads work fine on my car, good bite from cold and no dust, even done a couple of track days without problem.

EBC Red were standard fit on my Mercedes CLK. Never had any issue with initial bite when cold.

Avoid EBC Yellows, they squeal when cold and take a fair bit of effort to get the best from them.

Loads of other options which are well proven (Textar pads, Sebro discs etc).. Dont rule out the OPC for pads either - sometimes they can be quite competitive.

Funny - I went from EBC reds to yellows (don't ask me why after my experience with reds but I was talked into it) and though they do squeal the cold bite was much like OEM pads. Either wasn't as good as OEM for the street though. I got plenty of dust with reds and yellows. I thought it was greens that were not supposed to generate dust?

ive just changed the fronts on my cayman 3.4 i went for the pagid`s they work just fine hot or cold im well happy with them

Well Guys,
