986 - Correct MAF ref?

I have recently acquired a 986 Boxster (2004 550 Spyder Anniversary model) and feel that acceleration is a little sluggish and tickover is lumpy. Can someone tell me the correct part number for the MAF, bearing in mind this is the slightly higher BHP anniversary 3.2 engine.
If nothing else, changing the MAF will rule that out as the issue, but I remember having similar symptoms on my first 996, and a new MAF transformed it.
Thanks in advance.

M091 550 Spyder 2004, and for your reference its a Bosch Part, 0 280 218 145, Hot Film Type so don't attempt to clean it

I’m curious to know why you would say you can’t clean it? In my view the performance of a hot film device will degrade massively as it gets dirty. If you are planning to replace it anyway isn‘t It worth a try? You can buy electrical cleaners that are designed not to leave a residue - important on hot film.

If you have access to a diagnostic tool you can measure performance of the device before and after.

My performance baselines are (warm):
>15kg/h at tick over
>55kg/h at 3krpm steady

(these are my own numbers and not from specification)

Hi interesting question

I have had success cleaning hot wire MAF in the past with no issues, but the few times I have attempted to clean hot film ones it has not gone well

the last one was on my wife’s SLK 320, used the MAF cleaner bought from Amazon.

the results were misfires, only running on 3 out of the 6 cylinders, limp mode, and this was all completely random, turn the car off and restart and it would be fine for the he next 5-10 miles

replacement of the MAF completelay cured all these symptoms

it could have been about to fail and I just finished it off, who knows

so the advice was really to stop someone ending up with a dead car.

I just had a quick google and from what I read the results are pretty mixed, from no effect to destroyed
