986 Hard top rattle

Only had the car 2 weeks. Have noticed a rattle from the hard top. It seems to be from the trim that runs around the base under the rear window. Has anyody else experienced this? and is there a fix. Also seem to get a few creaks from it especially when going over bumps eg onto a driveway. It may be the norm and something that I have to live with but hopefully you can put my mind at rest.

Creaks are usual as are cabin rattles. A lot of them can be cured by cleaning all the rubber trim. It's very difficult to advise on specific rattles though.

JCB..

I treated all mine with Autoglym Bumper care (the thick green oily fluid) - i just wiped on a layer and then refitted the hard top. Any rubber care / preservative would probably do the same
