It will depend on mileage after your last oil change, however as a guide (albeit in km's) this may help: [link=http://www11.porsche.com/filestore.aspx/default.pdf?pool=uk&type=download&id=porscheservice-maintenanceandwarranty-booklet-pdf&lang=none&filetype=default&version=1]http://www11.porsche.com/filestore.aspx/default.pdf?pool=uk&type=download&id=porscheservice-maintenanceandwarranty-booklet-pdf〈=none&filetype=default&version=1[/link]

Thanks Nick Just as I thought, the last oil change was carried out at 48k, so it is due a minor oil change service now at 60k. I appreciate your help.

Hi Guys

I have just been confused by Reading OPC who have advised me that my 2003 986 Boxster does not have to be serviced at 60k miles.

I was under the impression that the service intervals were based upon mileage. Six months ago, as I had done under 9k miles in the previous year I had a annual inspection - no oil change, the car has now just reached the 60k mark and I called Reading OPC to arrange the service. They advised me that as I had the annual inspection six months ago, I can wait the full year to have the oil change service - is that correct?
