987.1 Seat back lever broken

My 987.1 has clearly got the hump that I've not driven her for a while so when I attempted to release the passenger seat back this morning one of the levers snapped off. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on complexity/cost of fixing (once there's a garage open to do it...)?

Is it just the small silver lever Jon? If so, yes it's easy, let me know as one of mine broke on my 987.1, I can look up the invoice for you.

Hi Kevin, yes, it's just the lever that came off in my hand! Any advice/guidance welcome,

thanks,

Jon

If this is the part, it should just push back on, you can see how it clips from the picture above, if it's broken here's one of the part numbers, be careful though if you need a new one as they are handed - I got sent the wrong one the first time, so you need to make sure you get the correct part number......
The replacement was around £18 4 or 5 years ago
