Watch sadly as my Boxster turned over 70,000 miles today 1/2 of that on my watch.

Today dawned sunny, cold and dry, so what better way to 'celebrate' this landmark (for me) was a drive to the lovely Elan valley.

Very few on the roads there and virtually none in the valley, so really nice.
Busiest bit was watching a swarm of 12 classic Minis in full convoy all buzzing in 3rd gear! Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Congratulations, there were some R12 (Norfolk and Suffolk) Porsches in the Elan valley on 25th February.

The 2.9 is a darling of an engine and compliments the car no end.

This kind of trip is what it was designed for.

I put around 5 to 6 k miles /year on it, and this keeps things supple I think and 'working'

MoT next week, so my mood might change![:D]

…looks great in white! And fantastic scenery too 😄

We had a nice run out yesterday with the roof down, well it was 14’c !

I noticed mine just had a few hundred to go before that magic figure, but it’s a few years older… 987.1 2006

Boxsters were built to be driven 👍

I hope to put on a few miles in June in Northern Spain.

Perfect ... for both car and driver [;)] :ROFLMAO:

Latest fill was VPower @ 183p , still cheaper than my other passion ... Stella Artois !

Shell Go+ have recently been awarding me additional discount vouchers, £3 and £4 at a time without having to meet the standard ten fills [:)]
