987 Boxster paint missmatch

Guys,
Decided to get my 987 (08) bumper paint missmatch sorted under warranty (meteor grey). I've never been happy since buying the car new last year with the match between the front and rear bumpers and the rest of the car. The bumpers look darker in colour with more metallic fleck in the paint cmpared to the rest of the car. Once the sun shines brightly it stands out a fair bit. I know there is always a slight difference but I've seen cheap cars around with very good matches.

Reading OPC are thankfully sorting for me and I understand that Body Technics are now doing all the bodyshop work. Is this a good thing? I just want a spot on job as I'm nervous about putting the pride and joy in for this work especially when it's only a year old!! The nightmare thought enters the head about it being worse afterwards!!

Jase.

Heard recently that Porsche have incredibly stringent standards when it comes to being an "official" body shop. And all the work is itself warrantied.

It's warratied for life - as long as you remember to have a yearly inspection (FOC)
