Just got my gizzmo to connect my iPod to the ICE. Only problem is that I have no idea how to get the radio out!!

Did a new Mini a few weeks ago and have done a Volvo but the 987 looks like a lot has to come out. Any help gratefully received.

60 Gig Ipod Photo!!!

Your trying to connect an iPod to a 987 head (CDR24)?

Is this a VERY new connector, new design?

I wasn't aware that there was a connector that could connect to the CDR24 yet. It's all to do with the fibre connections and the MOST bus of the CDR24.

Do you know how to take out the radio?

I am using a Dension FM modulator until all the tests on the Ice>Link have been completed. I will probably be a guinea pig or rather my car will be a guinea pig for this.

Have to confess, I don't know how to take it out.

Up until now there hasn't been a link to the CDR24, so i've had no reason to try an extract it. Maybe this is the time that I should find out.

Got the radio out. A right bastard if you don't know how to do it!!!
FM modulator does what it says. Now have to sort out the annoying alternator whine at 3000rpm. I will probably wrap the FM modulator in tin foil.

I will let you know when I get back from two weeks windsurfing in Mauritius.

As with everything its easy when you know how.
