987 Roof 'Problem' - Any Ideas?

Had several Boxsters since they were announced 13 years ago. Brilliant cars, and never had a problem of any kind - until today.

987'S' (19k mls) - came to open the electric roof and it hesitated as if something was restricting it. Back panel lifted and shut, windows lowered and raised, but hood never moved (just a couple of clunking noises). Managed to open it manually, but then wouldn't shut - would go through the motions but hood wouldn't move. So closed it manually.

Not particularly concerned. Covered by extended warranty and my OPC do a very efficient collection/delivery/loan car service, but just wondered if anyone knew the prognosis?
