Hi everyone, I'm new to the club and first time using forum. I'll try and upload an avatar later. I have a couple of questions that I would welcome comment on.
I had the PDK "oil temperature warning" come on briefly the other day, I contacted my nearest Porsche Centre and they said that it just sounded as if it was a blip and that if it didn't come on again that it would settle down and the systems software would compensate. I've got my Boxster booked in with them in a few weeks to have the 111 point check prior to extending it's warranty and they said that any system faults would be stored for them to analyse. My question is does anyone have any knowledge of similar experiences with PDK's and is this something that could be attributed to a software issue or could it be mechanical.
So far all is Ok and it hasn't, but i've noticed that the previously smooth down shift has become what I can only describe as a bit snatchy in normal and quite pronounced in Sport mode.
Also if it does need a software upgrade does this impact the PCM navigation version as I have noticed that there is an upgrade available.
Thanks Nick
