Just in case you've not noticed, there's a 987 seminar scheduled for Saturday, 7th April at Cornbury House. I presume that it's going to be along the lines of that organised for the 996.

Contact Mandy Sutch on mem@porscheclubgb.com to register your interest in paticipating and for further details in due course.

Jeff

Hi Jeff;

Thanks for the info - I'm signed up for the seminar.

Stu

Cayman S 987.2

Previously Cayman S 987.1

PCGB R10

I sent an email but got no reply. I know the spaces filled up fast for the last one. Does anyone know if there are still spaces for this one?

I've received an email from Mandy Sutch to say that the Seminar is being pushed back, probably to late Autumn, owing to many Members being on holiday for the planned event on 6th August.

Archie - No details yet but I think it will take the form of presentations by a team of technical specialists and PCGB Members covering all apects of 987 ownership, followed by a Q&A session.

Jeff

I was signed up for it but like others am somewhat dismayed to find that it has been postponed but there were only around 30 takers! As someone said probably due to the time of year but also, I had only seen the OP entry!

Hopefully more will wish to join later in the year and so I'm watching my email for contact from HQ!

As a newbie to the world of Porsche ownership, specifically a Cayman 987 Gen. II, I'd be really interested in attending this seminar if it is rescheduled for the Autumn... :)

Yes Jeff, everyone who booked for the previous session have been offered priority booking but there will be plenty of places available

Jeff, I intend to do such when I have checked with Mandy as to how many places they wish to fill but for now I will allow a little time for those who wished to attend the original date.

I'm sure that we'll be getting a note from Kevan but just a reminder for those of you who have already booked that this event takes place in a couple of weeks time on Saturday, 7th April.

Unfortunately this event has now reached maximum capacity and spaces are no longer available but there may be a waiting list. Contact Mandy Sutch on mem@porscheclubgb.com for an update.

Looking forward to catching up with fellow Caymanites attending on the day.

Jeff

You're more than welcome Steven. There's a fair amount of component commonality between the 987 and 981-series cars.

I suspect that we'll be outnumbered by the Boxster posse, so the more Caymanites the better.

Jeff

Have any details regarding start/finish times and lunch arrangements been issued yet? I don’t recall seeing that information in an email or on the club website.

Thanks, Andrew

Nothing yet Andrew.

When I booked back in January I asked if tickets were going to be issued and received a reply from Mandy Sutch saying that no tickets will be issued for the event but that we'll all be receiving an email with further details nearer the date.

I presume we'll be getting some information from the Club next week.

Jeff
