991.1 GTS Paint Protection Film: Recommendations?

Hi Folks
Can anyone recommend a company who has the template for the 991.1 GTS? The front bumper is different to the standard 991 so the company I have spoken with local to me in Stratford Upon Avon can't help.
Any recommendations for paint protection film for my 991.1 GTS?
Cheers, Giles

Paintshield in Peterborough are good but not the cheapest. They will have the necessary templates.
Xpel self healing film is very good in my experience. They do standard and a stealth look as well which can work really well over some colours.

Reep Midlands are another option, they're accredited suppliers and fitters of Llumar self-healing paint protection film. Reep Knaresborough have looked after our cars for a number of years and have done a sterling job. We decided on GTechniq ceramic coating rather than protection film and very pleased with the results. We had it put on our last 911 which was Basalt Black and it made keeping it clean fairly effortless. Just had it put on our latest purchase, a 991.1 GTS.

Agree with above GTechniq is a ceramic coating and recognised as the best, from a film point of view I have used Paintshield from Peterbrough on 4 cars and my recent GT4 I have used Topaz who are also very good. I would use either again , I am well pleased with Topaz but I think the Paintshield guarantee is slightly better.

What made you decide to go with Gtechniq ceramic coating this time instead of protection film? I have a new 4GTS due in a few weeks and am trying to decide which to go for.

We chose it for our last 991 specifically because it was black, to avoid the dreaded hologram effect you get on dark coloured cars even with religious maintenance and waxing. We'd had holograming on our Midnight Blue 4S and it drove us mad. GTechniq is a very durable finish, and coupled with the EXO water repellent coating it gives incredible beading and really does make dirt etc slide off. The GTechniq is guaranteed for 7 years, re-application of EXO is recommended every 2 years. Personally, I'm just not a fan of protection film, even if it is now 'self-healing'.

Thanks. That's most helpful. Which specific Gtechniq product did you use in addition to the EXO water repellent?
