Hello
has anyone experienced a hissing noise coming when the heater fan is running. When I turn the fan off there is no sound. There is no difference when I engage the ac.
Thank you
Andrew

Yep, had the same issue and eventually the fan stopped turning. If you lift the cover in the bonnet and put your hand behind the battery and then feel leftwards you will find the fan in a circular tube. Turn it to free any slight obstruction and the job is done. Apparently it is a common issue and may only happen once or a number of times. Mine was solid in November and has not happened since ????

Many thank for your help. I tried to put my hand around the battery but couldn’t as I got ham hands. Got my wife to try and hey presto, she managed to revolve the fan and clear it. No more hissing and all is as quiet as a 991.1 can sound. Now I need to track all the noises from the C pillars and doors.
