991. 1 upgrade stock C2S bumper to aerokit

Imbo

Hi,
I've recently purchased a 991.1 C2S but I'd like to swap the front bumper for the aero kit / GTS one (gen 1). I've done some research and understand it is a straight swap and I can reuse the current headlamp washers, DRLs and side indicators.

However, the grills (air intakes) at each side look different and I have parking sensors on the stock bumper (the ones at each end are molded into the gray intakes). I was thinking if they didn't fit into the new gts bumper, I would get some sort of mesh and add that instead of the grey intakes (with the parking sensor bonded & clipped into the top corner).

Has anyone done anything similar or managed to reuse the plastic grill from a stock bumper with the GTS bumper (or bought an equivalent grill to retro fit)?

Many thanks in advance

Just a warning here assuming you manage to get a part. I have a 991.1GTS and the front spoiler is orientated slightly forward. This was changed on the 991.2. The slight issue is that the spoiler is very easy to ground. Coming off a drive you soon learn to come off at an angle rather than perpendicular to the road otherwise prepare for the 'crunch'!
