That looks very nice mate. 991.2 has Apple car play which is a bonus as well 👍
Go for it as your only here once and enjoy it

James,

I’m sure that there are plenty of examples of both cars around and I would have thought that the obvious thing to do is to have a test drive in each, then you can decide which you prefer?🤔

Good luck with your search!

Thanks Jeff, I'm test driving on Tuesday.

I've had my 991.2 for 7 years and there are superb cars. I think they look better than the .1, and the tech is quite a step up from the first gen model (eg CarPlay as someone mentioned above).

The engine noise isn't in the same league as the non-turbo models, but it's not far off. Despite my early concerns, I'd now say that the engine is one of the highlights of ownership.

One last point, I don't see so many of the 991.2 cars on the road. Not sure what the relative numbers are but they certainly feel like a rarer car.

Good luck!

Thanks for your help. I feel I'm really sold on the 991.2 and having been looking for a couple of months, there are fewer available. Feels like engine noise aside, the .2 is much better option especially as a daily driver.
