[h1]991 gen1 GTS wanted[/h1]I don't know if anyone can help as I'm looking for my first Porsche and it will be a 991 gen 1 GTS coupe.

The ideal spec would be PDK with the 2 GTS packages plus sunroof. Ideal colours in order would be Mexico blue, Lava orange, Carmine red, Sapphire blue, GT Silver and would consider other bright colours for the right car.
 
Lava and Carmine cars come up quite regularly....the others less so especially Mexico. Proper Unicorn!

Just to let you all know that I've found my GTS in carmine red that I will be picking up on Thursday[:)]. A special thanks to everyone that contacted me direct for your help and advice and I look forward to meeting you at shows meets etc, I will now join as a full member.

Just now need to find the right insurance company to insure my baby, I would be grateful for any recommendations. I`m not looking to do any track days plus will cover less than 5k per year.

We're with Aviva, £500 pa for 6k miles (£650 excess). They insisted on a Cat 5 tracker (this is the highest category tracker system, higher than a Cat 6, something we didn't know til we got our GTS last month), it was already installed on our GTS (possibly standard fit) so we just needed to activate it, which we did for 3 years at £585 (Vodafone Automotive formerly Cobra.

I have Aviva Private Client....comes with agreed value as standard or three years GAP included if the car was bought new. Also you can repair at a garage of your choice and with OEM parts. The repairs thing is important to me as that is the most likely cause of a claim (although hopefully not)

Which car did you buy ? There was a very nicely specced Carmine Car at one of Swindon or Reading that seemed to sell very quickly ?
 
I will try contacting Aviva private client on Tuesday and see what they offer.
The car I'm buying is from Tewkesbury and to be honest I've been really impressed by them.It has the spec I was looking for plus a bit more , also I think I had a good deal.
